Felt Good
Written by, well, me.
I tore a couple sometimes
I burned a broken bridge
I screamed through the silence
I sat close to the edge
I revelled in the lightness
Last night as I walked home
An alien reflection
Well I'd never been alone
And it felt good
It felt so great
I pulled down my hood
To feel the shake
The air was chill
I'll keep my secrets
Until the spill
Don't make me speak before I'm readiest
I ran around in circles
I breathed some moldy air
I found the shapes in nothing
I made them disappear
I didn't even notice
That I hurt again and again
Though I knew I had to leave
I couldn't bring myself to say "When"
But it felt good
It felt so great
I pulled down my hood
To feel the shake
The air was chill
I'll keep my secrets
Until they spill
Don't make me speak before I'm readiest
I caught a couple glances
I gave a couple glares
I cried while they were sleeping
I wore her down with stares
It still felt good
It felt so great
I pulled down my hood
To feel the shake
The air was chill
I'll keep my secrets
Until they spill
Dont make me speak
Oh it felt good
It felt so great
I pulled down my hood
To feel the shake
The air was chill
I'll keep my secrets
Until they spill
Don't make me speak
Before I'm readiest.
