Painted Toms
I think toms are probably some of the most comfortable shoes ever! and of course it's always really cool when people paint them or make additions. so, here is a showcase of what i think are some of the coolest or most original painted toms on wanelo!
i so love the octopus, i love how the shading looks like ink...maybe it is!
i like the way the dandelion is so radial. this was my favorite dandelion one, maybe because of the precision. it looks so delicate and wild, the strokes of the flower
the detail is so wonderful in the arrows...i love that they are gathered on one shoe and flying in the second. i love that the shafts are different colors, it keeps you interested
these are amazing...you can almost feels the tentacle things dragging like threads, spreading out and waving like colorful flags. i love that you can see the movement.
the birds look so perfect in a casual way, i love that there is small detail but the color is blended as if it was nothing... :)
okay, so these ARE a little freaky looking. but i love the value of the sides of the bones...plus the gold on the black. so cool. i probably wouldnt wear them, but i could imagine wearing them...they are cool! i know people who would love them, so yeah...
oh...i have to say. i melted inside. when i saw these. although, the hole in the trunk looks like a belly button :P hahah! but i do love love LOVE the shading across the shoe gap (what to call it?)
the koi is really cool, probably why i posted this one. there were a lot of wordy ones, but this one caught my eye with the fish! it looks dot drawn. i like dat.
i like the combo of pattern and paint and glitter on the plain black toms. there were tons of zebra print, but come one! the glitter!
the title was the architecture of happiness...pretty self explanatory why i love it. also, the geometric shapes painted with the little scattered rhinestones. yes.
